How long before your flight do you need to arrive at the airport?

Leaving on time is one of your top priorities, and it is one of ours too! To avoid a last-minute rush, follow our guidance below.

Connecting flights

If you are taking a connecting flight, make sure you follow the time limits for each individual flight.

Recommended arrival time at the airport

We recommend that you arrive to the aiport early enough to drop off your baggage and to give yourself enough time to go through all security checkpoints. On your boarding pass, you will see the recommended airport arrival time. We estimate this timeframe based on busy periods at the airport. If this information is not listed on your boarding pass, get to the airport 3 hours before an international flight, or 2 hours before a flight in France and Europe.

Check-in deadline

The deadline for checking in your baggage depends on your destination. To find out the Check-In Deadline for your flight, select your departure zone from the list below. For example, if you are leaving from Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2 and flying to another city in France, you can drop off your baggage and check in up to 40 minutes before your flight's departure. Please select your point of departure

Unaccompanied minors

Is your child traveling alone? At the airport, please arrive at the check-in counter with your child at least 30 minutes before his or her flight's Check-In Deadline.
