What is a zone?
You are assigned a zone number depending on your cabin and Flying Blue status. You will find the zone number on your boarding pass. Our crew will let you know when it is time for you to board the flight, starting with zone 1 and going up to zone 5.

Yes, smooth boarding allows for a more even distribution of passengers on the plane. Time saved at boarding means your plane is more likely to leave on time.
Yes. You are still allowed to board as long as your zone has already been called. Simply present yourself in the line that corresponds to your zone.
After you have located your seat on the plane, quickly place your hand baggage in the compartment above your seat. Keep your personal item under the seat in front of you* to leave room for other passengers to store their baggage. * Except for the first row and emergency exits.
If the flight is scheduled to be full, our check-in and boarding teams will check in a certain number of baggage items free of charge*. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please make sure to keep your passport, medication, electronic devices, etc. with you on board. * If your baggage item is within the weight and size limits.
