Today, there are numerous ways to travel around Amsterdam: including metro, tram and bus. But Amsterdam is very well known as one of the most cycle-friendly cities in the world, with many bicycle lanes and bike racks. There is an unusual attraction in the 'Floating Flower Market', where flowers are sold on barges on a canal. The market dates back to 1862.
